From time to time, our Cameron Park Neighborhood Association will form one or more volunteer committees to perform functions necessary for our operations.  Currently, these committees include:

• The Crime and Safety Committee, dedicated to working with the Waco Police and other city departments to address and prevent crimes in and around our neighborhood.  Click here to read more about the crime-related concerns this committee works on..

• The Overlay Committee, dedicated to (a) understanding how zoning regulations and other City and State ordinances protect our neighborhood, Cameron Park and the rivers; (b) working with the City to recommend improvements in those regulations; and (c) working with both the City and developers to ensure that our neighborhood's concerns are heard and addressed when developing new homes and businesses within our borders.  Click here to read more about this committee's work.

• Grants and Events Committee, dedicated to working with the City to take advantage of grants the City makes available for Neighborhood Associations, often in conjunction with neighborhood service events and social gatherings.  Click here to read more about this committee's work.
